If the needs of keeping up to date with other websites and other pressing needs is paramountm, then other stuff that is arguably more enjoyable will be squashed and trampled underfoot.
The app is nice, but it does not behave well on iPadOS26 and will not be constrained by being put into a smaller window. I have hopes that the authors are busy even now, and tweaking a line of code, here and there as I type. Perhaps, there is a master plan to rewrite this with Swift (maybe it is written in Swift?). Correction – both iAWriter and 1Writer do resize their windows. I must have been holding it wrong. For info, Bear resizes nicely<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To conclude this thought, I do notice that 1Writer has a similar problem – but it has not been updated in the past 2 years. There is a 1Writer pro app and many, many others.
On the other hand, Editorial (which is almost certainly defunct) will window very happily in the latest OS – obviously well written!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
